Mililani Town steel tubs
Alcove tubs from the 1970s and 80s with worn bottoms and rusty drains.
From Mililani Town's original homes to older houses in Wahiawā, we renew steel and cast iron tubs in a single visit.
Mililani was built in stages, and the stage matters for your tub. The original Mililani Town neighborhoods date from the late 1960s through the 80s, and many of those homes and townhomes have porcelain-on-steel tubs — good candidates for refinishing.
Mililani Mauka, built from the 1990s on, more often has acrylic or fiberglass tubs, which we don't refinish. A fridge magnet will tell you which you have: if it sticks, we can help.
Up the road, Wahiawā has some of central Oʻahu's oldest housing, including homes with cast iron tubs. They're heavy, well made and almost always worth saving.
The central plateau is cooler and often wetter than town, and bathrooms dry slowly. Worn enamel turns porous and holds stains. A poured refinish seals the surface again so it cleans easily — in about three hours, for a flat $635.
Many homes here are rented to military families. We refinish tubs between tenants; the tub is ready the day after the work. See condos and rentals.
